Prof. Maurice Amutabi is a Fulbright scholar and received his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is an expert in governance, peace and development issues and has previously served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic and Students Affairs at Kisii University, Kenya and Director of Research and Postgraduate Training at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi. He is also the chairman of the African Interdisciplinary Studies Association (AISA) and Vice-president of Kenya Scholars and Studies Association (KESSA). |

Dr. Linnet Hamasi received her PhD from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Kenya. She works as a lecturer at Kisii University, Kenya where she teaches courses in gender, development studies and peace and conflict studies. She has also worked in other universities in Kenya such as the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), Nairobi. She is a winner of fellowship of University of Uppsala, Sweden. She is widely published and has attended many conferences. Dr. Hamasi also serves as the Executive Director and Treasurer of the Nairobi-based African Interdisciplinary Studies Association (AISA.) |

Prof. Henrik Nordvall (Ph. D) is the Director of Mimer - The Swedish Network for Research on Popular Education at Linköping University. His doctoral thesis was about the organization of the global justice movement’s local Social Forums in Sweden. Current research projects include topics such as the educational background of the Swedish political elite; educational designs for critical pedagogy; and the global spread of the Scandinavian folk high school idea. |
